Hans moved to Houston only 3 years ago from beautiful Kaneohe, Hawaii. Born in another island nation; the Dominican Republic, Hispaniola Island of the Caribbean, Hans attended government school education at national fine arts, ‘Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes’ in his home town of Santo Domingo/capital and first European settlement & colonial city of the Americas.
A few years after school and after some art exhibition experiments he moved to Granada, Spain where he lived for 6 years and continued studies and experiences in diverse arts fields and with his personal life coming out and discovering his real persona/artist. In 1990 he came to the US and lived mostly in New York City among the abundant Spanish Caribbean community. Arts in all fields made his work platform in the ‘Big Apple’ until Oahu Island came to his horizon and made him leave NYC. Three years later he has the business opportunity to open his own studio gallery in Houston and then makes another final move to this city, he has been working and painting there since 2006.
